I think everybody know about the new car lunching by Hyundai named Genesis. First I am not a car expert people, I just want to tell my story about my experience. Since my husband saw Hyundai Genesis at the Auto expo in Denver about a couple month ago, He still impressed by that car. Especially when he read a lot about the car in the Internet and his magazine (Car and driver), it was a lot of good review about Hyundai Genesis.
Finally after one of dealer in Denver has the Genesis they called my husband and we came to Denver to have a test drive. It was good, nice luxury car with the hight technology too. After we drove the car we have no doubt about the car but the doubt came when we talk abut the monthly payment for the leasing and the re-sale value ( 50%) of the car.
After we think for some time we have an other taught. First my husband originally form Germany so in his whole life he always drive German car, like VW, Mercedes Benz, BMW and Audy. Right now he has Audi A8 2003, and I have Mercy ML 500, 2006. He also has a nice license plate said “GRMN TOY” that’s mean German Toy.
When we think about the re-sale price an other car has a better offer, The BMW dealer in Colorado Springs has 60% in the resale price and lower number in leasing. So with the same amount money monthly payment we can get the BMW which more expensive in price. And as we knew that BMW is one of the luxury car that we have no doubt in quality.
Then we had an other test drive for the BMW, it was also wonderful, when we drove the 528 Xi series it was nice good looking luxury car then my husband feel that the power not enough for him who always drive Audy A8, so the consideration change to the more power car. Then we drove an other series, it was BMW 335 Xi series and he like the power then the other problem came because the car so tiny. And then we drove the BMW 535 Xi he like it, because this car has a power like the 335 Xi series and comfort sit like the 528 Xi series but less in sport package, and no navigation, that’s not a big deal because he not use much navigation for driving to work.
